I began listening to Son House about 5 years ago. From what I remember, he was a delta blues singer in the early years of recording. He then moved north , where he took to dog grooming and dishwashing to get by. Sometime during the 60s, he was rediscovered and convinced to record a few songs. I'm pretty happy that he did.
